A Season of Lent on the Horizon...
The Season of Lent begins with 'Fat' Tuesday on February 16th. Come and join Pastor Becky and others at an informal gathering at the Rancho Cordova IHOP for a pancake dinner starting at 6PM. Then come on Wednesday evening the 17th at 7PM for a contemplative Ash Wednesday Service to celebrate the beginning of the Lenten Season. There will be a Fellowship Dinner served at 6:00PM.
Lent is a season of prayer, fasting and study as we prepare for Easter.
Mark Ferriera, a member of St. Andrews UMC and a fabulous pianist, is coordinating 'Cabaret for a Cause' to raise money for disaster relief work in Haiti. Come and join us Thursday, February 18th at 7:00 PM in the UMC Rancho Cordova chapel for some great musical talent and to raise money for the ongoing disaster relief in Haiti.

Coming soon.... The Happy Homemaker's, a group of women who meet every two weeks at either the church, or a home to discuss housekeeping tips, cooking tips, and some spiritual nourishment. We will also have field trips to thrift stores and learn more about keeping our house in the 'green' by saving money and being good stewards of our earth. See Kimberly Cole for more details...
